Color Me Joyful Kit (Colorwork Hat Pattern/Yarn Set) Collaboration with Daniela Richardson CMJK1

Color Me Joyful collaboration kit between WhimzeeStitches Designs and Daniela Richardson of Caffeinated Knitting. Daniela has designed a wonderfully colorful hat design that includes fair-isle colorwork motifs. This knit in the round hat design has no decreases, uses a 3 needle bind-off technique and an origami style envelope closure. You should be a confident advanced beginner or intermediate knitter to complete this knit.

NOTE: The actual knit hat pictured in this kit is not included - that is a sample hat just to showcase the design. You will receive the yarn and pattern to make your own version of the knit hat.

PATTERN NOTES:
Gauge: 8 stitches per inch of color work in stockinette stitch using the bigger needle
Needle: Size two (2.75mm) needle for the brim and size three (3.25mm) needle for the remainder of the hat, or whichever needle size you need to get gauge.
Sizing: There are three hat sizes. The small hat will fit a head circumference of 16-17 inches, the medium hat will fit a head circumference of 19-20 inches, and the largest size will fit a head circumference of 22-23 inches.

YARN DETAILS:
• 85% Superwash Extrafine Merino Wool and 15% Nylon
• Each Mini Skein is approximately 20 grams, 72 meters, 78 yards
• Total included in the kit (5 skeins) approximately 100 grams, 360 meters, 390 yards

BAG DETAILS:
• 100% cotton fabric (fabric design positions may vary with each bag; zipper color may vary from photo)
• Fully lined with off-white cotton muslin
• 4-fold, topstitched fabric handle with a swivel lobster clip that can be attached to either the D-ring on the side of the bag or used as a zipper-pull if attached to the zipper.
• Top-stitched to keep the zipper from catching in the seam
• Fleece lined (padded) to protect your contents
• Square Edge bottom so that the bag will sit on its own
• Spot cleaning recommended. Can be machine washed in cold water, on delicate cycle. Iron as needed.
• Sewn in a smoke free environment
• Dimensions: Approximately 8.5" tall, 9" wide with a 6.25"x 3.5" boxed bottom
